Jake Keaton Launches New Website with RACE22 Designs

BARBOURSVILLE, WV :: West Virginia driver Jake Keaton, who is competing in the full 2013 season at Hickory Motor Speedway, has launched a new website created by RACE22 Designs.  The new site will display all the latest news, information and social media information from the driver who will be competing in the full schedule at Hickory Motor Speedway.

“I’m excited to sign with,” said Keaton.  “The new website makes it easier for my fans, friends and family members who can’t make it to the races to follow what I’m doing all season.  I know RACE22 does a good job promoting drivers so I know I’ve made a good decision working with them and the website looks sharp.  It’s the best looking website I’ve ever had and I couldn’t be happier with what they’ve done so far.”

Keaton is a former Late Model winner at Ona Speedway and has competed in both dirt and asphalt racing.  He has made the decision to transition back to asphalt racing in the Late Model ranks full time in 2013 at Hickory while also making starts at other tracks in the region as well as competing part time on dirt closer to home in West Virginia.

“We’re excited about this season,” said Keaton.  “We didn’t get the start we wanted to but I know we’re making progress and I think we’ll be contending for wins here before long.  I’m encouraged we can run well at Hickory.  Hopefully we’ll be able to finish in the top-five in points and be in contention to win the track championship.”

RACE22 Designs, a division of builds websites for race car drivers, teams and businesses and is excited to have Jake Keaton as a customer.

“We’re glad to have Jake as a client,” said RACE22 Designs lead designer Langley Austin.  “I’ve known Jake for the last 10 years and to be able to work with him on the website is exciting.  He’s a great driver who’s shown he can get the job done in the past.  We’re excited to have him on board with for this year and hopefully beyond.”

Jake Keaton’s website,, has all the information about the team, driver, his upcoming race schedule, race results, news releases, photos, videos and more.

Keaton Off to Consistent Start to 2013

BARBOURSVILLE, WV :: Rolling out a brand new Performancenter Racing Warehouse (PRW) Chassis at Southern National Motorsports Park last weekend for the first of “The Dirty Dozen” twin races and in a single 100-lapper at Hickory Motor Speedway this past weekend, Jake Keaton and team are still trying to get the bugs worked out of the new car. With finishes of 15th and 18th at Southern National and a finish of 16th at Hickory, Keaton knows that he has a car capable of competing with the front runners but also knows he has room for improvement.

“No one goes to the track to finish 15th or 16th,” said Keaton following the 100-lap race at Hickory. “We’re going each week to win races but I also know that we’ve got things to work on with this new car. We’ve got to get it right and honestly I’ve got to get back in the swing of things on asphalt after spending last season on dirt.”

Keaton and his team plan to return to Hickory this weekend, March 16th for the second leg of the ten race ZLOOP Big 10 Challenge Series. Keaton and his crew led by crew chief Jeremy Williamson will be looking to improve and crack the top 10 as they continue to build their notebook for future races.

“We’re going to continue to get this car better and I’m going to continue to knock the rust off,” laughed Keaton. “We know we’ve got one of the best chassis’ in the business and we’re learning. I think we’ll be in the top 10 this weekend and we’ll be in the top five before you know it competing for wins.”
